Installation Considerations for Fans

1. Check Attachments and Documentation: Before installation, carefully verify the specifications and quantity of the supplied accessories to ensure they are undamaged. Check if the documentation is complete and confirm that the spare parts meet the technical requirements. Follow the fan’s factory-supplied package details for installation.

2. Inspect the Fan Unit and Accessories: During the inspection, check for any damage, deformation, displacement, or debris entering the fan duct that may have occurred during transportation or storage. Manually rotate the fan shaft to ensure it turns smoothly, and listen for any abnormal noise.

3. Determine the Installation Location: After confirming that the above inspections show no abnormalities, determine the fan’s installation location. Ensure that the fan’s base does not directly connect to the building or other equipment. The base and anchor bolts must match the equipment, and excessive tilting should be avoided.

4. Calibration and Concentricity Check: Place the fan on the foundation and calibrate it to ensure the fan is level, with a tolerance of no more than 0.04mm. Check the concentricity between the motor shaft and the fan shaft to ensure the difference does not exceed 0.15mm. If the alignment does not meet the required standards, adjust and tighten the bolts only after ensuring the correct precision.
